Book Club Recommendations?

Hi there! I will soon be joining a book club with my mom, sister, aunts, and cousins. Here’s where you come in. We’re looking for recommendations. Have you read any knock-your-socks off books recently, particularly one that makes you think or makes for a great discussion?

So far, we’ve seen the below suggestions, but are open to just about anything:

  • The Paris Dressmaker
  • This Tender Land
  • The Alice Project
  • Have You Seen Luis Velez
  • The Book of Lost Names
  • The Huntress
  • The Heart’s Invisible Furies
  • The Island of Sea Women
  • The Lincoln Highway
  • The Girl With the Louding Vice

Thanks in advance, and I’m looking forward to researching any recommendations. Yay for reading!

  1. My book got picked up by a book club in October, so I recommend it 😀

But you’ve already read that, so I’m sure you’re looking for other recommendations. Of books I’ve read recently, I’d recommend either of Hank Green’s books, The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green, or How To by Randall Munroe.
